The Artist Jeremy Cale

Home

Jeremy Cale is an amazing artist.  A man of complexity, his life is reflected in his art.

Jeremy CaleAn artist since the age of 14, Jeremy creates one-of-a-kind pieces:  carved elk antlers and incredible beadwork based on various American Indian tribal designs.  He creates leather clothing, design elements for homes, jewelry and pen and ink drawings. Jeremy earned “BEST OF SHOW," Runner-Up Best of Show," "1st Place" and also "3rd Place" at the recent Kansas State Fair held in Hutchinson.  See Kansas State Fair section for more information!

Jeremy, as one of the last mountain men in Kansas, as he says about himself, has a deep affinity with the Indian way of life and seeks to preserve this rich tradition through his art.

To view Jeremy’s art is to be surrounded by beauty—  of his talent, of the mediums he uses, of his soul.

Incredibly small beads are used on many of his pieces, often too small to be seen individually by the normal eye.  Yet when used by Jeremy, the beads form intricate and colorful patterns and designs on various leather goods—  shirts, moccasins, pillows, etc.

Jeremy is a living testament to the diversity of talent found in those with developmental disabilities. Jeremy’s world, as his art, is complex because he has Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism that is called “intriguing” as a neurobiological disorder.  Individuals with Asperger’s can possess remarkable talent in art, mathematics and other highly-detailed disciplines.

Jeremy’s art is available through Rosewood Services, a cutting-edge service agency locatedin Kansas for those with developmental disabilities.

We invite you to view Jeremy’s work and then contact Stephanie Stinnett, Jeremy’s artistic manager, for further details as to how to purchase his art. All proceeds go to further Jeremy’s art career.
