Eat Dinner at Treaders on the 5th, Raise Money for Rosewood Foundation

Enjoy a signature sandwich, soup or a salad for dinner on the 5th of any month, at Treaders and you’ll be helping a worthy cause. The Great Bend restaurant, located at 1309 Main St., is teaming with Rosewood Services Inc. to offer this fundraiser for the organization’s Roots & Wings Foundation.

Here’s how it works: On the 5th of each month, after you’ve made your purchase from 5-8 p.m., place your receipt in the box on the Treaders counter that says “Rosewood Roots & Wings Foundation.” Treaders will then donate 10 percent of the sales from those receipts to the Foundation each month. If the 5th falls on a Sunday, the donation opportunity runs during the restaurant’s business hours during that day.

Rosewood Roots & Wings Foundation exists to advance the physical and mental needs of disabled individuals in central Kansas. It funds educational, instructional, therapeutic and recreational opportunities by providing wheelchairs, technical and assistive equipment, dental and medical care and legal assistance. It also strives to enrich the life experiences of disabled individuals by funding trips to museums, concerts and other activities.
